Default Extremely Suspicious User ID on eBay

Remember: On eBay, no money has to exchange between the buyer and the seller. The seller can mark the item as paid at any time.

Suspicious eBay ID: elman64

Check this out - elman64's feedback score is 18 but feedback left for this person is 82. What does that tell you? The buyer is making huge purchases from the same sellers over and over.

The major item elman64 gets is MP3 MP4 players.

Could it be that this eBay user ID has been created and is being used by a hacked seller to boost his own feedback?

Elman64 purchases players from:

simle_plus168
power_player88

Notice the 2 eBay names elman64 purchases from. They are different, but the way they are spelled is the same: one word then an underscore, another word and then a number.

All 3 names end in whole numbers. A 6 and 4, a 6 and 8, and two 8's. All whole numbers.

Could elman64, smile_plus168 and power_play88 all be the same person? Could the user id elman64 be used to boost the feedback for smile_plus168 and power_player88?

If you check out the listings on eBay for smile_plus168 and power_play88 you will discover the listings are exactly the same for both smile_plus168 and power_player88. Same words, pictures, colors. Everything is the same.

It is one person using two different seller id's.

There is enough evidence to show that all 3 eBay user id's are the same person and that the user id elman64 is being used to boost the feedback of smile_plus168 and power_player88.

Feedback fraud is being commited.

It is against eBay's policy for a seller to use additional id's to boost their own feedback.

WATCH OUT FOR

Smile_plus168 and powerplayer88 and elman64.

Don't buy anything from any of these ebay id's. Remember - its the same person, 3 different id's. And this person is commiting feedback fraud on eBay.

Shill bidding! Does it do any good to report anything to eBay anymore?

Good catch. While still in mp4 mania a couple of months back, I noticed the similarities between power_player88 and smile_plus168 as well. I was enticed by their extremely low prices for glacier-type players as well as their free shipping, but decided against purchase once it came out that their supposed "2gb" players were actually 1gb and their "4gb" were 2gb. Glad I didn't get scammed.

eBay has done nothing. There wasn't even an email saying they received the complaint. Nothing. They don't care. People at eBay are making way to much money to put an end to it.

Imagine eBay putting a stop to all the scams?

There would be no eBay.
