I have a similar player.
If you haven't had a chance to play with one of these, there are a couple small details you might want to know.
You cannot browse through your files while the music is still playing.
Had I known this I would not have bought it. I find it so annoying to have to stop listening to look for the next song I want to hear.
Also when you are looking through files the player is rather slow.
If your getting just a one gig, and plan to use it on shuffle mostly then this player would be fine for you.
Another thing I would add is the risk vs. reward for flashing the firmware is just not there. There is really no reason to ever flash this kind of firmware. It seems that no new features are added and the liklihood that your player will be bricked is high.
