General questions about Nano clones

Hey

i had a player that used to restart on its own accord i thought it was a software problem .....

I flashed it with my backup firmware extracted from the same player
it died for some reason i think it could have been a hardware problem anyways i want to just forget about that player for a while
i was thinking about buying a nano clone that looks like this one

http://www.mympxplayer.org/image-asp249
it can play amv and mtv and has 10 hours battery life for music and 8 hours battery life for video and has 1 gb memory (im sure of this NO memory hacks).
it costs 43 $ with 1 year warranty but no return or exchange
its a product of a known brand in this part of the world.

But the question tht i wanted to ask is How long do these players last?
If i take good care of it will it last for more than 2 years?
IM looking forward to ur replies

Abdul-Nimer , it all depends on the individual really. If you take good care of it, usually it would be able to provide you with many months/years of service.

Abdul-Nimer , we are unsure when the new firmware extraction tool would be out. But if it's out, you'll definitely find it here.

Glad you found the site useful, it's great having so many regulars around.

Another question is the price good for this player?

And will the memory of the player annoy me with problems if i copy and paste and format too much?
another question i wanted to ask out of curiosity is :
wat happpens if u flash a player with its firmware more than 6 times ? will problems occur? thnx in advance

Abdul-Nimer , it depends on how much is the memory capacity of the player. Usually a 1GB player would cost about US$30-40, 2GB about US$40-50, that's just a price estimate.

Many players arrive with hacked memory, and after format the capacity reduces greatly. You'll need to be aware of this and buy from a reliable seller.

Typical Nand flash modules are manufactured for 1000 read/write cycles. However, with proper care it usually goes much more than that.

If you flash the player with its own extracted firmware, or a compatible firmware, no problems would occur. But most of the times, many users end up with a bricked player after flashing a wrong firmware.

That is only the guaranteed stamina of block 0, other blocks are usually with average endurance 1 000 000 erase cycles, infinite read cycles.
