Hey There,

Yeah mine's the same. Blue strap and all. It looks like I'll just have to play music video's instead of playing MP3's. Have you experienced and issue with the MTV converter where there seems to be a time sync issue between the image and the sound?

I guess it could be the codec's on my machine but I've tried it with several different file formats and it's all the same.

Thoughts on a postcard...

P.S. If I manage to get anywhere with the Error(41 I'll post it here as well.

Maybe someone can help me out here... I just got this mp4 watch that only plays mtv format (wth?)... it came with a conversion program in chinese that does the video ok (squishes the screen a bit) but the sound is horrible... as if is was slowed down... the watch doesn't seem to play any of the files from other converters (just stops). I love the watch and just want it to work right heh. any help would be appreciated

MTV is a format that plays using very low price processor chips so they can include video in these devices cheaply...
They sacrafice quality for this.
The program is made with alot of bugs and there is no other converter that works for this watch (trust me, ive looked).
The software i have is in english or i may have managed to change it to english. can you find the name and version number (e.g. mtvconvert0.3.2.1) and i will see if i can find a way to make it english. When the language is sorted you will need to change the settings to the highest to get watchable video format.

It's not the video quality i have a prob with its the audio for the video... the converter I have is mtv video converter V1.12.11... does the video nicely, the audio sounds like a slowed down record player. if you want a copy I can send it to you it does up to 208x176. The text is in chinese but it is easy to figure out ( I have another version in english that don't work at all but i use for reference). I am thinking about trying to rip the audio and reinserting it when I convert... Just hoping I don't have to go through that extreme to get videos lol...

well that probably wouldnt work as the player will only support a certian audio codec at a certain kbps. the loss of quality may not be from the converter but actually from the low kbps it is converted to. you may want to try having the video in different video formats before the converter this may make a change.

I am gonna try to extract the audio in mp3 format at 128kbs and reinserting it... hoping that will fix the sound issue. thanks for the input If you want a copy of the prog. let me know
