My mp4 has 2,4 inch, 320*240 resolution, 256k colors,2Gb memory flash,and touch screen.I would like to know how can I change my theme and the boot image.To help you guys identify the mp4, I have a picture too...

So, guys, please help me...the rockchip games works, but I don't know how to change a theme or the boot screen.Please explain me the firmare things too... .Thanks in advance

Sal Mircea, te sfatuiesc sa lasi firmware-ul in pace. Eu am ceva experienta cu playerele si deja am ajutat 4 romani de-ai nostri cu firmware. Chestia asta cu schimbatul e o mare prostie. O sa ti-l strici si nu se mai pot repara. Prima data cere un firmware de rezerva de la cine l-ai cumparat si dupa aceea e usor sa schimbi tema. Daca nu ai backup o sa-l strici si crede-ma ca nu merita.

Apropo, unde ai gasit modelul asta, ca e super cool.

English:I already have a firmare backu on cd I think, all I need to know is how to change a theme.
Romanian: Pe cd-ul de instalare deja am firmeware update ...si ceva de genul ala...cred ca ala ar fi backup-ul, daca nu, te rog sa ma inveti cum sa fac un backup.Tot de ce am nevoie este sa schimb tema de exemplu pentru ca imi doresc foarte mult.L-am cumparat cu 280 ron de pe okazii.

Salut baieti!!!
Nu credeam c-o sa mai vad picior de roman p-aici.
Modelul este un Teclast T39 si firmware-ul de backup ar trebui sa se afle chiar pe CD-ul din cutie. daca nu-l gasesti acolo, cauta pe forumul asta pt. ca baietii de-aici au un stoc destul de bun de software la dispozitie.
Nu-ti sugerez sa incepi sa faci modding decat daca stii foarte bine ce faci. Documenteaza-te mult inainte, gandeste de trei ori si fa o data. Ar fi bine sa iei contact cu cineva care a reusit sa faca o tema pt T39 si sa-i ceri sfatul.

Playerul in sine este foarte bun, bine dotat si destul de fiabil.
Pentru cei care ar dori sa-l cumpere din ROMANIA am gasit un site care aduce playere de f. buna calitate si la preturi super OK:

Am scapat si eu de mania cu I-Pod si astept un Ainol V2000 direct din China. Poate fac un review cand ajunge.

Adica cand dau frumul..sa pun eu ce imagine vreau... :D

Nu zic sa nu incerci sa faci schimbari la teme si la imaginile de startup si meniuri. Numai ca fa rost inainte de un back-up de undeva si asigura-te ca este pt. playerul tau. Daca ma uit mai bine nu este cu adevarat un Teclast original pt. ca slotul SD nu este la locul lui. Deci probabil ai pus mana pe o clona (chinezii cred ca au descoperit clonarea ca sunt experti).
Incearca urmatorii pasi:
- Afla cu ce chipset este dotat playerul tau: Teclastul original are 2 chipuri: un Telechip pt player si interfata si un Wolfson pt proceasarea de sunet si muzica.
- Afla ce firmware este incarcat in player. Vezi daca il gasesti pe undeva !!! ACEEASI VERSIUNE
- Nu incerca update daca nu ai sau nu esti sigur de starea backupului pt ca altfel ai aruncat banii pe fereastra.
- Citeste pe site-ul asta sau pe teclasters.com cum se face extractie de firmaware pt. playerul tau. De obicei firmware-ul se afla intr-un director sau comprimate intr-un fisier. DOCUMENTEAZA-TE !!!
- in cazul in care nu ai un T39 original si este de fapt un Rockchip, nu dispera. Daca vrei modding se poate si cu asta, dar pasii sunt aceeasi.
Personal cred ca poti si din file manager sa setezi imagnile de fundal si de start-up.

Imaginea de start-up s-ar putea sa fie un gif animat. Mare atentie pt ca trebuie sa-l inlocuiesti cu o alta animatie cu acelasi nr.de cadre.

Playerul nu a venit si el cu un manual?? Eu stiu de player doar din impresii (bune de altfel) si din review-uri. N-am vazut inca unul cu interfata complet schimbata...

Defapt imaginea de start-up(boot) este una creata de cel care mi l-a vandut ( www.mymp3.ro ) si nu este animata :D.As dori sa aflu cum sa o schimb :) ...ca nu prea ma pricep cu firmware si cu dalea :oops:

Parerea mea sincera, dupa ce am vazut site-ul de unde l-ai cumarat este ca ai fost un pic tzepuit. Playerul pe care l-ai cumparat valoreaza de fapt mult mai putin si nu este un Teclast original.
Totusi poate ai norocul sa te tina bateria si sa nu se buseasca pe neprevazute (pastreaza bine garantia, bonul si neaparat ambalajul original...).

Un vanzator care face el insusi modificari playerelor pe care le vinde ar trebui sa puna la dispozitie firmware de backup si de asemenea informatii cu privire la modul in care ei insisi au facut acele modificari.

Cere-le sfatul in legatura cu acea imagine de boot care te streseaza :D (da-leun mail/tel.)

Totusi, avand in vedere ca playerul nu este fiabil ca unul original te sfatuiesc cu mare caldura sa o lasi mai moale cu modificarile.

Poti sa ma ajuti sa mai caut niste informatii daca faci asta pt. mine:
-du-te in meniul SETUP/SETTINGS al playerului si pe acolo cauta niste informatii de genul FIRMWARE VERSION sau PLAYER INFO.

- sa nu cumva sa deschizi playerul cu surubelnita pt ca s-a zis cu garantia.

Anyway, the Okazii.ro sellers are not to be trusted. I went under the skin of a seller and he said that he is replacing anything new with used parts... I wanted to buy stuff from there but I changed my mind. Reliable sellers are the guys from www.mediadot.ro , and their prices are very low compared to others. I currently have a Glacier, but this month I'm getting a Nexus Nomad A8906 with NES emulator. You can get it for 268 ron (~110$). That's quite a good price IMHO considering that in Romania the VAT is pretty big and you need to pay a green tax.

@Mircea, you better stick with the player as-is. Modding is a dangerous practice. Many people, including me trashed players and getting them back is not the easyest thing to do.

Salut , in leg cu afirmatia ta de genul " ai fost tepuit " ce vrei sa spui???? ai gasit playerul acesta la un pret de vreo 10 ori mai mic????
modelul respectiv Teclast T39 dupa cum vezi este chinezesc si dupa cum stii in china nu numai o fabrica produce acest model.Sunt poate 10-20 de fabrici care il produc sub diferite nume. De unde si pana unde Teclast reprezinta un brand international super cunoscut care...e...producatorul original dupa care au copiat altii?? Tot eu iti dau raspunsul...modelul original, original, original este un Samsung. Playerul vandut de mine..nu este cu nimic mai "neoriginal" decat magnificul tau Teclast(http://www.teclast.com/) .

Referitor la firmware, cati producatori iti pun la dispozitie firmware-ul playerului in cutie??? Ma refer la producatorii cunosuti...Samsung, Apple, etc...

aaaa.... si referitor la " playerul valoreaza mult mai putin" dupa parerea ta de spe******t .......cam cat de putin???? eventual gratis????
nu te grabi sa faci afirmatii gratuite ....cand nu esti chiar in tema.


PS. iar modificarea de care vorbiti a fost facuta la fabrica producatoare pt importator ...adica eu "Mymp3" si nu se poate schimba decat daca schimba firmware-ul si...atunci, risti sa pierzi garantia. Simplu :)

The discussion has taken a very interesting turn as we have been joined by the distributor of this magnificent CLONE !!!, probably being very upset by our previous opinions. The fact of the player being a copy of less good quality is obvious for me... I've seen a lot of distributors selling bad copies for the same price as a decent reliable PMP.
I'm not saying that Teclast is the mother of all MP4 companies, but given the situation where Mircea_92 wants to simply change the startup image with a player like Teclast the opertion would have been darn simple.
With your version of multiple cloning, i'm sorry to say Mircea that you'll have to leave it AS IS because the distributor has an eye on you and WILL void your warranty if you make any changes to it (pray to God you don't scratch it !!!...)

As for the lovingly distributor, why don't you post on yous site information as: battery life, chip-set, firmware upgradeable (yeah right...) and such. Dumb Teclast as other companies provide more support for the same buck.

There's a post on this forum that says " STOP THIS MULTI MILLION DOLLAR FRAUD" and i have a good suggestion of you being in it...

You both from me something and you are not happy about the quality?? Or you just have a mooring chat??/ I’ am upset because you say that my players are bad quality without any proof. This is absolutely hilarious :D

In the links you've posted you can plainly see that the photos are of an original Teclast (with the teclast logo and all...), and not of the player that you are marketing. Does your player even have a brand name ??? Or is it just MP4... never heard of them.

Anyway, why do you fathom that Teclast has made such a good name for its products?? Because they offer very good quality, lots of support, decent prices (yes that is a lot you are asking for the clone...) and lots of customization options.

You can be angry all you want for my part. I'm just stating my opinion to a 15 year old boy - Mircea.

I don't know what's so hilarious for you...you didn't answer to me, Why do you think that my products are so low quality??? All you do is Teclast are so good...have you tried my products and know that they are bad?... Are you a Telcast seller or what?

Anyway, there's no point to answer any more to your posts, I'll let other people talk about this.

...are you a lawyer or something like that? I don't see mircea_92 complaining about the product. He simply asked if he can change the picture...from there to this discussion...it's a long way.

Btw, can you show me that good technical support on Teclast??..maybe you'll know Chinese. And...i guess that when you buy a Phillips let's say, you ask customer support from the factory, the producer, right? Not from the place you've brought the products??...

PS: Do you really think that the pictures on that sites...that i've posted...are REAL product pictures? Can't you see that they are bad quality ????...And, ALL the links are from FACTORIES, not shops...think a little...

I'm tired with bickering with you. I'm not a Teclast seller, nor a fan of Teclast. This discussion has gotten way off topic. I didn't even understand why u got so fired up as to join the forum and post your very first right after a few members gave their impressions.

Are you defending your honor or such...? Maybe you've done better to just stay quiet and do your job. Mircea hasn't even replied to any of my suggestions firmware-wise. After doing so i might have more information on what chipset the player has. That's it.

He wanted to know if he could change the startup picture. It's his player, he asked a question, we try to answer, simple as that. It's in our nature to give our impressions.

Anyway, regarding your products quality: I don't even care !!! They're unbranded and unsupported.
And with a salesperson's attitude like yours i wouldn't even bother to consider your products.

Look guys..I don't care if my player is a clone...or not. I am very happy with it till now.The memory goes fast...the player opens directories fast...the music player is awesome !!! and the video player rocks !!!.I don't know what is wrong with it.The only problem i could have might be the Soft(if you guys say that is a clone).But if something happens at the soft, it will happen in the first months, and I have warranty for 1 year.Anyway..I dropped the ideea to mod it..I will let the player just like this... not to risk anything.So stop the "fighting" the www.mymp3.ro players are cheap and good ones, even if you guys say that they are copied from china or not!!!Who cares !!!
