Default A little question for JXD851 Player

Hi

Sorry for my bad English!

I have a JXD851 Mp4 Player. In my CD driver, I can't found firmware for this player. And How to format this player, because I can't found any tool to do this (ex. MP3 Player Utilities). Can I format this player in Windows?

Click the image to open in full size.

Can this player play FM radio? In my screen, I found 8 icons: Music, Video, Photo, Text, Record, Navigation, Game and Settings. Can I add more game to this player?

My CD driver has 2 folders: JXD851_3101_0628 and mtv_smv_tools, but I don't know what are there folders for?

Please help me. Thanks!

chuotyeugao , check the player's current firmware version first, that will give you an indication of what type of chipset it uses.

Also, does it come with a sample video? What file format is it in?

If the menu does not have FM, there can only be 2 reasons. Either there isin't any FM chip installed, or it is not enabled.

As with most players, adding games would mean modding the firmware. However, you will need tools to do so, which at the moment there isin't much.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

Thank you very much, lattesurf!

Firmware of my player is:
Ver: 00.00.0008
Date: 2007-04-12

I think my player used Rockchip. She can play AVI files (using AVIConverter)

Indeed JXD851 is a rockchip device... screen of 2.0"... 220x176.

AFAIK this manufacturer JinXing is not providing firmware of any kind for its products... I've tried to find JXD856 all over the world unsuccessfully.

I hope they burned in hell!!!

You're right DaremoS!

More info of this player:

It's very slim, nice... but not FM.

I can't find a backup firmware of this player.
