1- Does it has really 2 GB memory or is a fake?

2- Does it reproduce avi???

1. It problably does indeed have 2G memory.
2. It is an AMV player all video must be converted to this format.

In my opinion if you don't really need the camera buy an AVI player for this kind of money you'll be much happier with the overall quality of the video. Also the AVI converters allow for more options. The Avi players are starting to use the new Wolfson Audio Chips which are superior audio reproduction chips. I don't think AMV players are incorporating this chip in their players, perhaps someone here will know. Check out both uxcell.com and mp4nation.com for comparable AVI and AMV units.

i'll second avionik99's comments on getting an AVI video format player. Offers better video quality and better audio quality with the additional wolfson chip.

The price would be slightly higher, but in my opinion considering the better reliability it offers, it is much more worthwhile.

I think this is not a 2gb device, and all the videos must be converted in avi form for playing on it. In the same price you can get some some other MP4 player of 4gb. why dont you try that.

There are more hacked 4GB player than 2GB players on average.

I can't say 100% that it's a real 2GB just by looking at the photo. The only way to really know is by formatting it and having looking at the memory chip instead.

Some things to note:

• Firstly check the seller's FEEDBACK. As a seller, he only has SIX positive feedback though which makes me wonder.
  
• The seller has been registered since November 2006 which is a positive sign. A clear give away of a scammer is someone who has little feedback and has only just joined recently. Generally this is because they probably have been caught out and created a new eBay account.
  
• Have a look on: http://www.toolhaus.org as well and search for the user's eBay ID there.
  
• Have a look in the Bad sellers/Blacklist section of the forum on this site as well.

There are more things to consider but these would be the first ones to look at.

I agree with avionik and lattesurf. Buy a player that converts to avi. You will be a lot happier.

I own two amv players and video quality is alright, but nothing compared to an avi player. My Meizu just blows both of them away. The slight price difference is a worthwhile investment if you want to get the most out of your player.

so im didnt get it very clear???

does it reproduces avi in 320x240 or only reproduces amv???

its probably sunplus chipset which means it could be uncompressed avi.

so i cant use converted files with the vidrop encoder i found on this page (which by the way its awesome!!!)

hora123 , the ebay ad you linked says in the description that it plays .AMV converted videos, which means it's an Actions chipset. Which also means it does not play .AVI files.

However, it also comes with a built-in camera. Which as far as I know the older ATJ2085, and ATJ209* series does not support. Maybe it does, but have not seen one with a camera.
It could be the newer ATJ2135 chipset that DaremoS posted a few weeks back here http://www.mympxplayer.org/1-vt7655....r=asc&&start=0
Which again does not have any mention of a camera feature, maybe it does support but not incorporated.
