geostar , it's a good'ol Actions chipset. If you take a look at the user reviews, there are some posts of previous buyers saying to convert the videos to .AMV format.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

and this one http://www.ebuyer.com/product/126057 im going to order a memory card for my new phone (SE k800i) so i thought why not get a new player to make the delivery charge worthwhile.
