need options....looking for full screen touch screen player

ok, i am looking for a reliable source to purchase a 4+GB full screen touch screen mp3 player that will play avi, divx, ect.... not some file formate i have to spend 3 hours converting to that wont play on anything else. a 2.8" screen or larger would be prefered.

all of my dvd/video rips are in avi format and i dont want to deal with converting them again.

if anyone has a reliable seller that has this style i would appriciate the lead.

I would prefer to stay away from ebay, but thats the only place i have found them so far. uxcell.com does not carry anything i like.

jo gobel , perhaps you could take a look at the Onda players at MP4Nation.net as their players are quite reasonably priced there.

As for video conversion, you will still need to convert the videos to the required size. All players (as far as i know of) requires video conversion, either to another format, or another size/resolution. As for the Onda, if i'm not mistaken, it would need to be resized, but it is still using back the .avi (xvid) format.

oddly enough i just started looking at those players...

the onda's appear to be just like the one's that amigajoe can get. which i did reply to his thread to see if he has one that he can sell me.

as for mp4nation, i thought they were one of the more "sketchy" places to buy from?

however, i am really digging this player...

but in my opinion, knowing that they get these from china for only a few bucks apiece, i cant see spending $150 on this item.

i would rather buy a Zen Vision or MS Zune and get 30gb instead of 4gb

however, i dont mind the $70 price tag from amigajoe for the same thing that mp4nation sells for much more.

oh, and i forgot to mention, i used to have a zen Vision M and i never had to resize my vids that i had loaded on them.

i just wish that the chinese players would catch up and stop messing around.

I will suggest you o buy the Mp4 player as the MP3 will not be available in future so Mp4 is the better idea now.

huh?

now to directly discuss your comment....

these players do support mpeg-4 which is what xvid is refering to.

both of those players will play the file format's i want (mp3 and avi/xvid).
