Dear Reader,

I have bought an mp4 digital player, some call it chiPod. It does not work very well as I just can skip between tracks, I can not choose the folders or albums. Every time I stop a track it will start from the beginning, from the first track again.

I might need a new firmware.
The player says for firmware versions the followings:

I have got it from Honf Konk, I do not want to send it back, If anyone could help me, please send me any ideas,

1. You should do a test on the memory to check if it's a genuine 4GB memory. (read the "remove memory hack" thread)

2. Do NOT try to upgrade the firmware, it is 99.9% that you will brick(kill) your player if you do so.
