Default New S1clone v1.3

wiRe at S1mp3.de has developed a new v1.3 S1clone tool which supports a wider range of v9.xx players.

Do give it a try and let us know if it successfully extracts your v9.xx player firmware.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Using the new tool today I have successfully been able to read my flash image & write it back. It gave me a few warnings about not being able to format a few pages and not matching several too, but it seems to work as it did before. No, I did not use a fully working player - just my Glacier clone which has "best match" firmware found to date on it, and gives very limited screen functionality. The written back image seems to make it behave exactly the same as before so I'm happy it will probably work with players similar to mine. 2" screen glacier, AK1022, 1GB Samsung flash, bought from Power_Player88 off eBay (hacked - was sold as 2GB).
Now, the search is back on for someone with a similar but working player to get a new s1clone image to me so I can see if I can fully restore.

I'll give it a try on my old player (v 9.1.50) later and see what i get, as it didn't work before.

That's a good question..... Seems like there is a problem with s1mp3.de site and I can't find the latest version anywhere either. I'll have to check my old computer to see if I have a backup of it somewhere..........

If anyone has it somewhere stored and can upload it to this site to share with everyone, that would be great!

The only version I have on my computer is v1.2 which is already available on our old site here: s1clone from MyMPxPlayer.org.

Hopefully there'll be a member around which has a newer version saved on their computer somewhere which they can upload....?
