Anyone who is familiar with this player can please share with me some infos regarding the company that made this and also some support websites especially firmware upgrades (i have no idea if this player is firmware upgradable). Hoping for your kind expertise on this matter. Thanks a lot!

jcberedo,

I have a few portable media players. Similar looking case-wise. Without any branding, it's hard to know who made them or the chip used. A lot of the Chinese manufacturers get generic OEM casing, boards and chipsets and put them together and label themselves as 'manufacturers'. Needless to say, a lot of these 'manufacturers' close shop after about a year. Surprisingly enough, more open up straight after.... coincidence....?

What would you like to know about your player?
I'll see if I can help from experience with my own PMP players.

jcberedo , firmware upgrades are usually not recommended as it is 99% more likely to brick it instead.

Your player should be using a micro harddisk drive, which can be bought from some computer hardware stores.

Unless you are having problems with your player, i'll suggest not doing anything to the firmware or harddisk.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29
