Player with AV/in?

Im looking for att player that can record from a seperat camera (helmetcam).

It has to beable to record in at least 640*480
preferably SD memory but also HD can be interesting

maximum price: 250$

any suggestions?

well, i dont know of anything in the "mp4 player" catagory that would work, however, this is a camara/video recorder/music player that might work for you...

Aiptek Pocket DV5800

FYI - there are like 2 or 3 different versions of this media device, and some are not as good as the other.

and you can get it at Target for about $150 brand new, with warranty, and with a return policy on the spot and no shipping and no chinese shipping to deal with.

i had one of these, it works great, has a/v inputs and records decent quality.

i am not sure if this model is still available at target, i got mine a year ago.

aiptek does have some HD devices, however, on the specs info, they dont list that they record from another device for the best HD one they offer, however, the Pocket DV5800, and MZ-DV, and A-HD 720P High Definition does for sure

wants to be able to use it both as a recorder and a mediaplayer. but i don't like archos because it seams that u have to buy there camera or a seperat docking station.

thats cool.

just so you know, each one of the digital cams from Aiptek is a personal media player and recorder. they are just more of a camara and recorder than they are a media player. you can play music and movies on the players.

basically, its a camara/recorder that plays media.

but good luck with what your searching for, but i dont think there is much to choose from in the catagory that your looking in.

Have taken another look att aiptek and it looks like there AHD would be nice
