Default What else could I buy?

I'm thinking of buying the "Creative Zen Stone Plus 4GB" model (recently announced). Wondering if there's a comparable or better chipod at or below the same price point.

Here's my "must have" feature list:

- 4GB storage
- Mounts as mass storage device so I can use on Windows, Linux, or Mac
- Able to play mp4 audio (.m4a from iTunes) w/o having to run through a conversion program first
- Voice recording and playback on the device
- Charges directly from USB port, not AAA or other battery type
- Small/light enough to hang on a keychain or clip to my belt

Any other features (FM radio, video, etc) would be nice to have but not needed.

Can anyone recommend a product from UXCELL or other vendors with this feature set delivered at or below US $100?

lee_rimar , most chipods are able to deliver the requirements you listed. Though you'll need to look for a legit seller for a real 4GB player.

All chipods loads onto your computer directly as a removable drive. Which is a great advantage that i personally like over using some sync software like itunes.

For the mp4 format, unfortunately most chipods are unable to read it. However, some other chipsets like Sunplus are able to.

Voice recording and playback are available on all chipods.

Charging is done via USB, or an external AC adaptor (though not always recommended).

These chipods are relatively lightweight as compared to players which uses a micro hard drive.

Other features like FM and videos are also available on all chipods.

Pretty much all the players on uxcell.com are able to provide the requirements you want. At a budget of $100, you might also want to take a look at the Rockchip based players which offers better video quality and overall reliability.
Another site to look for would be mp4nation.net which sells the iSlim (if i'm not wrong).

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29
