help in selection of firmware
 

Hello guys i am new here and actually don't know what a firmware is

i have a sony MP5 made in japan Version v4.01.070920-d

Now can you please tell me which firmware to install and some links to the themes which can be installed

and it doesn't have fm is it possible to install a fm software

krates , if your player is working fine, do not perform any firmware updates. As it would more likely brick it instead rather than improving it.

As for theming, it depends on your current firmware and chipset used. Have a look in the System/Settings menu, then select Firmware Version/Info. What does it say there?
