Changes to site to try and improve performance

Hi all,

In an effort to try to improve the performance of the site and it's responsive so that the site loads up faster, you will notice at times the site changing. You will also notice at times the site is disabled while I upload changes to files/database to try to optimise it and make the site load faster.

Please bear along with me while I do this. Hopefully it shouldn't take lonog (provided I don't break anything).

Thanks for your patience.

Hi all,

Thanks for bearing with me through this process.

Fingers cross the site is going to run much faster now.

After reading numerous forum threads and posts and tweaking the site, hopefully I've found a solution to all the slowness.

Let me know what your feedback is like. I won't be doing anymore tweaks so hopefully the site will run fine.

Your feedback is appreciated. If it's slow, please let me know when it goes really slow.

Yeah admin, the site is running pretty smooth.

It used to occasionally time out for me but now it is great!

Thanks for the feedback nzer_4_lyf as well. Glad to see it's working fine. I too was trying getting time outs every so often, but I thought it might be me as I am logged in as admin. Fingers cross it keeps on being smooth that's for sure.
