Searching for manufacturer w/ option to modify userinterface
 

Hi guys!

I'm searching for a manufacturer who gives us the option of creating our own interface with additonal functionality of the MP4. Can someone give me some advice where to start searching for it!?

We would need a kind of development environment to modify and upload the firmware. Do you know of any IDEs for these units and which operating system is used!?

I have read about the "Rockchip", which obviously is used by many manufacturers. I would assume, not everbody is re-inventing the (MP4-)wheel, so there must be some standardized Development environment on the market.
