TINYDEAL - hacked player?

EDIT!! I KNOW DID THE HACK REMOVAL WITH ANOTHER VERSION OF THE DISK MANAGER TOOL AND NOW IT SEEMS LIKE THE PLAYER REALLY HAS GOT 8 GB!

I will try to copy 8Gb to the player and see if it works. I'll post again later.

Hi!

I know that other members have claimed the opposite, but now I know for a fact that Tiny deal (aka tinydeal, tinydeal.com, tinydeal direct, tinydealdirect.com, tronfy tech...) sells hacked players. I ordered a 8gb nano clone but recieved a 4gb hacked to 8gb.

S1clone recognizes the chip as only 2gb, but I suspect that it is 2x2Gb but I haven't opened the player yet.

I can not speak for the 8GB version. I bougth several 4GB 3rd gen clones and they were all legit and non hacked.

After I did the "how to remove memory hack" the player still had 4 GB. However, I did also a S1clone, and then it even showed a 1 GB capacity, including the detail from memory chip

So, or Tinydeal sold me real 4GB players, or he found a new way to hack the memory that even can not be traced by the memory hack tool.

Have you tried contacting them? It might have been a mistake with the order.
