Ipod Video Clone - IP5-01GD from tinydeal.com

Does anybody have the ipod video clone IP5-01GD from tinydeal.com? I have trouble charging this player, when I plug it in to charge it just shows usb disk, it doesn't show the charging screen, I have to turn the player off to show the charging screen but I don't think it's fully charged that way because the battery only lasts 2 hours.

On my 2nd generation chipod, the unit had to be turned off to charge it. As far as the battery goes, what are you using it for, videos or music? For primarily video, this is about right. If music, you might have gotten a bad battery or maybe it just isn't good enough to hold a decent charge. Have you tried contacting them?

Yeah I only play music and I contacted them and they said the player can only play for 3 hours. How long does yours lasts for when playing music?

I think it was around 3 to 4 on the 4gb and 2 to 3 on the 1gb, but it's been so long since I used them for any length of time I really can't remember.

Oh I have a 2GB so I guess there is nothing wrong with it then, but wow the battery sucks for playing music, and you probaly only get to watch half an hour of movies.

You might be able to find a battery off of eBay that lasts longer. I bought one from accstation for my mom's Meizu clone and it improved the video play by a couple of hours.
