What's the most easily modifiable 1.8 or 2" lcd mp4?

I will need an mp4 player that I can modify the firmware to automatically play certain files on bootup - instead of the standard menu....
I may be willing to pay for someone to "hack" and produce an updated fireware... Any ideas?
