Recomended MP4 player that's modifiable

I had an Onda 848(right number ?)LE clone which I was fairly happy with until i dropped it onto a tiled floor and its now buggered

So I'm looking for a replacement. It needs to have 2Gb or more of memory, preferably 4GB, preferably not touch screen and not a rockchip (unless the situation regarding these has changed) as I would like to have the option of modifying. I would like good music playback and reasonable video, any other features are a bonus.

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

Why you don't like Rockchips?

Branded rockchips are good for modding, eg onda and teclast, you can get the backup firmware from the manufacturer and modd that.
Meizu miniplayers can also be modded.
