yes there would be something on the player screen to select tv out, its not automatic, also are there setting for PAL or NTSC tv types
yes you can change the uer interface see tutorial and tools here and what is bootcamp?? http://www.mp4nation.net/forum/viewt...hp?f=24&t=4519 use the second editor for your player as the first one increases file size and you do ot have enough space on the firmware parttion |
And there is no TV Options at all on this player so yes it's not TV-Out supportive and I think they just included this cable to make it look like it has tv-out
Well as I ordered with Ebay I send the seller an email I want some of my cash back then I'll just write a positive review, but if not I just can't write a positive review about their company because something worth 10% of the players worth is missing while advertised Tough player is really good just that little thing I miss It's not a big deal but I extra for it so I do claim some of my money back Oh and as it was asked before in some other posts about this player Mine does have Video Resume, when I replay movie it says "Continue Last Pla"(Pla is Place just doesn't fit) and under it it shows two buttons "Yes" and "No" Also it does have Zoom so 4:3 videos can be played at full screen And Bootcamp is the Bootloader for Mac which also include drivers for Windows to make the Mac hardware work on windows(Keyboard Grapgics card etc.) As Mac is now Intel Windows just runs on a Mac it just needs the hardware drivers from apple and a bootloader which can start Windows XP install cd and installed partition |
I just found out that RKUSB.TAG doesn't work so I can't reveal the partition
Tough I saw there where quite a lot of other names makd found when trying other firmwares but I guess I can't find it only try all names he found |
Here are some other names, just rename rkusb.tag to:-
teclast.sys FRK.tag yuxtest1.yux yuxtest2.yux |
it was knob that found those - so credit where credit is due
nice that you have video resume, what about audio resume, i.e turn off the player and restart song from where left off, also you may have some extra movie codecs in your player, as soon as you get into the firmware partition you will see them in the system folder also with the bootcamp system are we sure that windows works with external devices in exactly the same way as a raw install?? |
This is a nice player, but it's really annoying that I have to hold in the V button before using |<<and>>| to adjust the volume. Are there any players similar to this one that have separate volume up/down buttons?

I tried HXD and search for .tag but it didn't find anything, I hoped there where some traces of firmware on normal mounted partition Too bad not Quote:
How can I test which codecs it supports, I mean maybe some zip with all kinds of sample video files would help And yea bootcamp is basically the same as just installing windows on a windows pc, not emulation or anything |
Just checked on a chinese site you can have just yuxtest.yux (without the number).
|
try pressing a button while connecting the player to the computer, press and hold each one in turn, connect the cable and see if t will force the partitions to view, this works with some players
