Default Unboxing+demo video from a Onda VX757 clone from Tinydeal

I made a video from the unboxing of my Onda VX 757 clone from Tinydeal.
Since I have the player, I modded the firmware to make it look more Onda-ish.
I changed the startup and shutdown screen, 2 desktop themes, the menu icons and the battery charging indicator screen.

At the end of the video I show a demo of the TV-out function.

UPDATE 04/10

I made another version with new startup/shutdown animation, new icons and 2 new backgrounds.

Here is a small video:

another excellent revoew and video

like the transparent selection bar effect, was that an accident or by design

also, the stop start on the video is that the palyer or is the film like that anyway

looks good, like the mod

to make it even more ondaish, using the T50imagesearcher you can actually change the size of the icons, so you cab make the main menu icons taller, pink out most of it and put your icons towards the bottom of the taller image and then they will slide along the bottom like a true onda player

great work again .. seriously great work

are you gonna put it up on mp4nation comp, i know its not their player, but tinydal was not mentioned and its a great example of what we mentioned about text instead of talking

what do you think of the player

my rockchip vx747 clone from tinydeal is already on its last legs, a serious pile of rubbish DO NO BUY THEM

anyway have you had any trouble with this player at all and does this payer have video resume function at all

also you def need a nicer font, there are a nice one in the pentagram firmware that is a lot better than the stock ones

Thank you for the positive comment.

The transparant selection bar was there allready, it was not modded.

I used the rkTools from the mp4nation forum ;-) Thanks to Maderin, you know him - ?

In the original firmware the main menu icons are in 4 different sizes to give them a animated look. I found the animated look too "cheap" and prefered a clean straight forward look.

The startup/shutdown stutters a little bit, the reason because of this is that there are 16 frames to slide the screen 400 pixels. I think it was better to slide the screen from top to bottom, then I have only 240 pixels for 16 frames.

I made a shorter video for mp4nation.

The player is OK, sound quality is great. There is no video resume function. I don't know how long it will last, when I bought it the price was 41 Euro, but I noticed it dropped to 36 Euro since a few days. Basicly I bought the player to play with the firmware, a branded player is too expensive for experimental use.
