best mp4 player out there for me
 

hi, ATM i have an onda clone mp4 player. it quite good but im sick of looking at the small 2.8" screen and the restriction of how many mp3 i can have.

I'd like people to recommend me a player that has:
4.0" screen
4-8gb internal memory
unlimited play list for mp3's (i have a total of about 700)
proper random/shuffle play
no camera (but no problems if it has one)
radio
fm transmitter built in (sick of my old tunecast)
ease of converting video file to play on player
firmware hackable is not important

best one i can think of for you is the onda vx787 player

4.3"
fm transmitter built in
micro sdhc slot
touch screen
multiple format video codec and sizes (poss no need to convert at all)
no camera
music sorting on album, artists genre

playlist - well basically the chinese have not got to grips with this in general at all, onda has 1 play list only and none standard, no chinese player has more than 1 at the moment, at least none that will match your requirements, you will have to forget this option im afraid

unfortunetely there are no cheap unbranded players tha meet your spec at the moment as bigger screen payers are justt coming to the forfront, maybe in a few months the cheaper, no brand version may appear, but i dout they will offer th features you really want

i like uxcell but buyng that and you may as well burn your money now
very old, totally unbranded, cheap made, old chipset really not worth it at all, sorry but there is no support and no updates its way out of date

there are many branded chines player at the likes of www,mp4nation.net that have ful support

a gemei or smartq would be 1000 times better than that, please dont waste your hard earned cash

all uxcell mp4 range is now totally out of date and far to overpriced compared they have some very old stock there and the prices are mostly more expensive than pukka full on branded chinese players like Ramos, Onda, etc etc

thanks for the reply. but after checking out the vx787, it's huge!!!! my pockets aren't big enough.

so i then turned my attention to the onda vx777. it seems quite nice. the only question i have for this is:

does it allow you to have more than 350 songs and shuffle/random play properly?
