What browswer is this in?

geostar 20th Jan 2009 12:31 pm

Google chrome

admin 20th Jan 2009 12:38 pm

Yeh, thought so.
Did some research on it.
Subscribed already to Google Webmaster Tools but it doesn't detect my site as having malware.....

See what I can do.
Thanks for letting me know.

From my corner of the world, Chrome shows the same warning:

http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/5822/adfsfasln6.jpg

It refers to 7speed.info domain, and happens only when trying to post a reply :?

admin 20th Jan 2009 1:42 pm

Thanks for letting me know.
So the rest of the site doesn't give you any warnings? Such as Downloads or Gallery or reading a message? Only happens when replying? That helps a lot more.

sndestroy 20th Jan 2009 2:35 pm

Yep, it happens only the 1st time when replying a post, any thread. If you click on "Proceed anyway" you can edit and preview as much as you want, but Chrome warns again when replying to another thread (just happened when replying this)

Other sections aren't affected :)

Re: I just got this warning when on mympxplayer.org

If u haven't noticed allready that's windows 7 beta I'm running there :)

sndestroy 20th Jan 2009 6:24 pm

I have Win7 since November, build 6801 to be exact.
The system works stable as a rock, so no need to upgrade to 7000 for now.

/end offtopic

Nice.
Does all the tools run ok in Windows 7?

sndestroy 20th Jan 2009 7:38 pm

MPx related tools you say? Yeah, they work right out-of-the-box.

Also W7 solves the problem of certain tools showing weird characters...
At least they now show the right, chinese ones (for me it's the same thing, lol)

Aahhh... i'm pretty sure I read today a post from someone affected with this problem, but on IE and even got redirected to some... inadequate sites =S when trying to reply, can't remember which topic it was...

geostar 20th Jan 2009 11:03 pm

i have build 7000 :D

Re: I just got this warning when on mympxplayer.org

Everyone,

Are you getting this for EVERY REPLY or only just one or two?

sndestroy,
Can you see if you can find that post about someone having a similar problem, but in IE please? Would appreciate it. I'll see if I can find it too....

admin 20th Jan 2009 11:49 pm

OK, I think I've FIXED IT now.

Can you guys all check replying again and see if you get the same prompt please?

The reason why I didn't see it firstly is because my Trend Micro was blocking it automatically.

Re: I just got this warning when on mympxplayer.org

Add a line "0.0.0.0 7speed.info" to your HOSTS file to make sure it's blocked.

Thanks lolita,

Remember if you want to make the HOST file change, you have to do it on your computer through. Rather annoying. I'm still trying to find out WHY and HOW they're getting into this so I can stop it.

sndestroy 22nd Jan 2009 1:16 pm

Replying is fine now, no "red warnings" so far in Chrome :). Tested OK also on IE7 and Opera.
Sorry but I can't find the post i've mentioned earlier, there's a whole jungle of dead player threads out there...

But i'm still trying to find it, and will post here if I found it.

I remember it was the similar warning

Thanks to you that users' rating is showing in Apples!
