New Rockchip Firmware Editor 1.0.3.1 for RK26xx
 

First of all, I'd like to announce that the new Rockchip editor,
which supports our cool but outdated RK26xx chips,
was released!

But I'd like to see your comments before I'll try.
Is it possible to create a backup of the WHOLE firmware using this tool?
Is it dangerous? Haved you tried?

Maybe it's paranoic to ask questions like these,
but I want to be completely sure it's safe,
because I haven't any firmware backup from manufacturer,
and afraid of the possibility to kill my player.

if you have NO firmware backup than you can not use this tool

as you know it is not possible to extract the firmware from 26 series players, so if you do not have an exact firmware for your player you can not edit/mod it im afraid
