PSP Clone MP4 - Anyone know this one?

Hi!
I have been considering getting this player for my kids since it claims to play Gameboy Advance games, Super NES and NEO-GEO.
Does anyone have it, and can shed some light on how the unit performs?
Thanks!

I think that is Sunplus chipset, Try to open and get Board ID, then see if its sunplus chipset.. If its.. Download FRM pro 1.2.0.8 in the tool secti0n of this forum, and try to backup y0ur firmware for future problem..

Anyone's got this? Does it really play Neo-Geo and GBA?

Have you looked at the GP2X instead? Have a look here: http://www.gp2xwiz.com/

This is an Open Source game player and very similar to the P2P. I have one of these (an older model) and because it's open source, there are heaps of emulators for it, such as MAME, NeoGeo etc.....

It also plays proper DivX and Xvid movies, along with music and photos as well as outputs to TV!

As long as you don't have very strict import laws, what you can do is ask for a sample of the product. There is potential to sell the GP2X, I'm sure around your area/city/country. I have been able to sell about 5-6 units of these in the past (about 3 years ago). Firstly request for a sample of it firstly so you can test out the product and know the quality. It might be a good opportunity for you as well to onsell them if you feel there may be a market for it in your country. GP Holdings should be able to discuss with you the possibility of a sample. You will still have to pay for it of course, but it should be at a good price if there is no one selling them in your country or to your country.

Hope that helps.

heh nice but im only 15. ;)

but maybe ill try the sample thing..and then tell them i dont want to make any deal with them and keep the sample! :D

I already have a Dingoo A320 for myself.
I want this for my kid, and I really don't want to pay 100+ dollars for something they could break in a short time. That's why I was looking at this PSP clone.

I did see that one before, but since this is for my kids, I do not want to spend 100+ dollars on it.
I mainly want something that plays SNES, GBA and NEO GEO.

i bought this type of PSP clone actually...it plays gameboy/GBC,NES,SNES, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis,and some 32bit bin games....it says it plays GBA, and the player detects gba games, but everytime i try to play GBA game it says file not supported. file not supported also happen to some SNES games too, especially Mario RPG. it's an ok player i guess, the movie player impresses me so much because there's no noticable lags like in other players when playing rmvb.

I have something like this, it looks like PSP but a smaller version. It has one nes game, Contra. It seems like it can play 3gp movies, it has dictionary, may view ebooks (it's probably just a text viewer), it can take pictures. It has a SUN uhm warranty sticker. I guess it's one of these. What's the FRM pro 1.2.0.8 for?

Hi everybody.

I have a player like this one

http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/5...ct0117v.th.jpg

I've already tried to check the chip, but all programs are useless and I can't open the cover
May be someone knows, what's the firmware and how to make any changes in menu looks?
Does it run any kind of playlist?
