Upgrade for my Rockchip? (AAXA P1 Pico projector)

Hi, I purchased an AAXA P1 Pico projector. The built in MP4 player is apparently based off the Rockchip MP4 player. I freaking love this pico projector - 60-70" videos on the wall, MP3 / MP4 player, SD card input, 1GB onboard, etc. etc.

However it tends to crash reading big (1GB+ videos) especially AVI and WMV. I'm wondering if there's possibly a patch or a fix for this?
