16 GB 1.8 LCD fake nano?Need advise please

Hello,

I recently purchased a nano and did not realize there were fake nanos out there. I am a little new at this and would need all the help I can get. What is firmware? I read alot of this going on for the fake nano and would like to know what it is..does the fake nano really not work? I bought this for $26, maybe i can get my money back.. I am not too sure on what to do. any advise would be great. Thanks

first thing is to get your refund. then, you can format it by following some help/guides available in this forum. for that, you need to identify your hardware and firmware version and you can search for the help.

I don't think i can refund it...it says no refund, exchange only

so i think i'm stuck with this. I paid about $26 on it, did i really get ripped off?

does not matter what the hell they say - first dont leave any fedback
then contact paypal and make an official complaint
do not be scared or threatend by the seller or accept and part refund

they are selling kake goods, paypal will get your money back, do not send the player back until all refunds have been recieved, in fact get your money back and just keep it

this is cheating and as such you have been conned, ebay and paypal will get the money back, just make sure you follow the guides here first and restore it to proper memory as evidence, take a photo of the player screen where it states the memory size and a photo after and point paypal to this site if needed, there are many many examples of late of fake memory players

like i said, do not be threatened by them, they will try all sorts of tactice (which is why they stay on for so long) - stand you ground

Hello, I finally received the fake ipod. I tried to dl the software to show the real memory but during installation, there was a problem. this appeared.

C:/DOCUME~1/COMPAQ~1/LOCALS~1/Temp?RAR$D189.000/MSI.CAB

Is there another program that's available? I tried download alot of version of this program and all have the same problem. I also have the newest edition of directx and media player and codec as well. On another note, on ebay to dispute the money, I have to send an email to the seller, before complaining to ebay. I sent an email out to the seller and they said to return the item and when they do receive the item, they'll refund it or send another one.
Is there a way of getting my money back without sending the mp3 back? They dropped out as an ebay user but still replied to my email....
