How to get MP4 player out of sleep mode?
 

my daughter recently got a GPX MP4 player..and we downloaded some songs ad everything was great untill we downloaded a video.

Well when i tried to convert it it told me video failed and all info on her MP4 player is lost including songs..also when we looked at her MP4 player it seems to be in sleep mode..picture with little zzz's on it ..i assume its in sleep mode? Any help is appreciated on how to get it out of this sleep mode and what happened to the music and video and how i can fix it..thanks

When you plug in your player into your computer, does your computer pick up your player and can you see the contents of your player? If it picks up your player, then I would suggest, backup and copy back the files you want from your player then FORMATTING it to see if that helps resolve your player.

Now, if your player is 'stuck' try to look for a small 'reset' button or hold on the side of your player to see if you can reset it.

no :( my computer is no longer picking up my player..and i dont see a reset button anywhere :(. Its a ML660BU GPX Digital Media Player with 8 gb if that helps ..
