*NOT 16GB?! hynix H27UAG8T2ATR BC

I believe what the chips have on them state:

hynix
H27UAG8T2ATR BC
944H M1PK1510Q1

then another chip has:
ak2027c
sa906ac

it is suppose to be 16gb mp4 player bought on ebay.

test show 1.8GB then starts to fail.

anyway i can unhack it to only show 2 GB or less when formatting??

tried all the tools i could find on mympx.org..

any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

A Google search for that chip reveals that this is a 16 gigabit (Gb) chip, not 16 gigabyte (GB). 16 Gb is equivalent to 2 GB. So no, you were not ripped off, you just didn't look closely enough before you made your purchase.
