Default File Issues

Hi, Guys. I am so grateful I have found your site.
I just bought my daughter an MP3/MP4 player.
The software:TV568 MLC V3.0.4.1
The hardware: TV1F568_V2.0

The problem started lastnight when I had downloaded Alvin and the chipmunks the Squeakqual. It worked great! She had the movie on there. Then I wanted to see how much memory it had and I added two folder which didn't work out in my favour. I tried to move the movie to a foler called (my daughter's name Videos). Well after that it all went down hill from there.
I did put the VIDEO folder back onto the player but for some reason now it's saying for EVERYTHING "File does not Exist."
I cannot put music, or videos, or music videos on the damn thing.

I have 7 music videos already on there which all work fine! NO problems but I cannot put any new ones on.
Every time I try it says "File does NOT exist." Eventhough its converted correctly and its in the MP4 file. I can see it.

So please help me. She is so heart broken.
I guess it goes back to never trust china crap! LOL.
Mine is supposely a 16 GB it only reads 15. It has a webcam CD disk with it, as well as it takes pictures.

I have tried restoring factory settings and resetting it. Nothing is working.
Any help, ideas, information and suggestions would be wonderful.

I am using Windows 7 if there are any programs I need to download.

I used DVD soft free studio (which worked fanastic!) I also used the You Tube downloader to get her music videos then using the DVD soft free studio to convert it.

So I await your response.

Sincerely
PG

Your actually awaiting a responce from somone who knows what they are doing :-) i can only guess.

in the mean time, what you relayed in your post looks like the usual memory corrupt or not as described.
to use this thing AVOID the areas of memory that dont work, AKA work with the 1.8g that you actually have :-(
Sorry looks like you (like thousands of others) got screwed.
Get your money back if you can/want. if you dont then use what really works of it and go on, knowing that it will "get you by", if you avoid going beyond a specific storage size.
one way to do this is to assemble your ACTUAL memory ammount on your main computer (in a folder), count it out and know that it is the right size (or smaller), then copy it over to the cleared space on the unit.

it is likly that the reason you place VIDEOS on it breaks then is because videos are BEEG, so you notice it most when you try and put those on it.

some devices you can HACK them to ID the actual memory then you get memory FULL instead of other errors, but the results are the same, only parts of the displayed memory are even available to you, corrupt or non-existant after that.
Dont Push it, if only so much memory works/exists on it, then only USE that memory, trying to put 50 eggs in a 12 egg basket is just going to break the eggs :-)
