Does this forum want new firmware or not?
 

I uploaded firmware for a common type of RK2608 player, that has the board id sd036-main-v12, more than a week ago.This firmware has not yet appeared in the downloads section. I obtained it from a chinese language website, from which I have downloaded other stuff that all appeared to be perfectly ok.
I always see appeals for members to upload firmware, and yet apparently when I submit firmware, the response is no thank you.Are you guys serious? Or are you denigrating players based on the older RK2608 devices? A lot of mp4 users have players using the RK2608, and are very happy with their machines.These people need assistance too when they are having problems!There are still a lot of RK2608 players being sold,and because something is not the newest and latest technology is no reason to ignore it!

I had approved it but forgot to mark the file as "active" which then displays it on the website. Oops, I missed one little tick box, sorry about that.
