subtitles?
hello ... I own this model and are excited MP5 ... but ... with all his
performances as play video files directly without converting it and play the subtitles .... not know how to solve this problem without forced to make movies and convert them directly to introduce subtitles video?? there a firmware update to solve this problem of mine?? thanks in advance for your reply and excuse my English expression.!http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/3065/mp5kw.jpg Video Supports RM / RMVB / AVI Video Format and no need to convert. Music Supports MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA, WAV, WMV, ASF & ACT Formats. |
No there is not any firmware which supports text files as subtitles. There are some more expensive players which support that, but not any Rockchip that I am aware of.
If this player is RK27xx based model, and SDK works for you, you may write your own code for this - but I don't think it's satisfying for you, isn't it? If the player is RK28xx based model, there is no way at all to do this (no SDK available). But to be honest, when I first started to dig into SDK for my player, I was planning to make subtitles supported, but then a lot of troubles came out regarding audio for my player, so it was pointless anyway. |
thanks .. RK27SDK model version 1.1 firmware is 6.30 loader ....

The best solution is to embed the subtitles. Use viDrop to do this:-
