MP3 brand "Dainet" : who was the OEM ?
I bought in 2005 a Dainet MP3/FM/Recorder 256 MB.
It is very good, and still work. I wonder if somebody know the real OEM manufacturer. It seems Dainet brand come from Russia On the sticker of the device there is "Made in Korea." |
It's really hard to tell.
To be honest with you I would say 99% of the MP4 players are from China. Even though it says "From Korea", they are probably just a reseller - they would have the player manufactured and made in China then get the factory to put their own brand printing on the player. If you pay extra, you could get them to change the boot up screen as well. I know this because I have asked about it from other manufacturers in China. The worst thing is as well though is that a lot of these suppliers close shop within a year or two. Either that or they just close and reopen under a different name or something....... I know it's not much but you're find it very difficult to find who the OEM is for your player as there are many manufacturers in China that make these players. Was there something in particular you're looking for? |

I was curious to know the OEM brand in order to see their current products. http://dainet.technoportal.ua/img/mp..._rvr_fm520.jpg |
ChipGenius might be able to tell you more about the unit if you can plug it in via USB.
you will likely never find the "brand" or company who actually made your specific device, but if you can find out what firmware/chipset is inside it you can then find out what the system is capable of. looks like this is just a little mp3 player though, so really i don't see you going very far with your investigation. |
