Hi flasher

Gonna be very hard to get hold of now, even the Rk27xx are disappearing now, I tried to order a new rk27xx player to use with the SDK and ended up with a RKcrown! and it looked just like a RAmos rm970 clone.

Dealextreme is probably the best bet, but there's no guarantee it would be Rk26xx even if looks like one, I tried to get the one with a removable nokia phone battery about a year ago but was out of luck.

cheers knob

Hello everybody, I am back again. I've just bought RK26 player with RKP platform for 79PLN which is about $28

MP4 Vedia C3 - Okazja!!! Polecam!!! (1702448231) - Aukcje internetowe Allegro

It has RK2608 + Wolfson chips, 2GB internal memory + MicroSD slot. It supports RKP games, FLV (320x240 FLV ver1), APE and FLAC formats ))

Though I have to wait for it until 24 of July when the seller comes back from his vacation.

It is used, it has built-in speaker (but it seems to be broken somehow - nonetheless if it's just unplugged cable or broker speaker, I will put there some better modern loud-and-clear mini speaker)

I want to start programming in RKP platform again, I have very sentimental value for RK26 players - my very first player (TECLAST C260 clone) had already gone dead (screen doesn't work - it's probably just screen connectors), so I abandoned everything connected with RK26.

Later I bought RK27 player - the same as yours KNOB - it's great beside that audio issue (remember knob? do you still have yours?). For a long time I abandoned because the battery was really shitty (it didn't hold for even 10 minutes after 24hours of charging), but surprisingly, when I lately started to use it, the battery holds for about 6 hours of constant playback

So, I am just wondering, how much of us - old rk26/27 programmers are still interested in doing something with those players? There are for sure good players left out there.

Correct: It has MINI SD slot, which is even better, it can access non SDHC mini sd cars (4gb!)

VEDIA C3, great player, they are still available!!
