I just registered a few minutes ago and I REALLY need your help, guys!
I have this player that has no specific name, but I think it's called pmp dv mp3 mp4 game player or something like that. Oh and it's a slide panel. I bought it about a year ago and it worked wonderfully until a few months ago. the games just stopped working! :( whenever I play a game the screen just turns black and the buttons stop working. so I will have to reset it (the only button that works). after a few weeks the speaker stopped working too! but I don't really care much about that, I could insert headphones, but I really want the games to work again :( is there any way I could fix it?

i would like to modify my firmware and i have only the fw file

There is a way to install the firmware or OS on a microSD card of TF card, put that card in the player, and have it install the OS in the proper memory location. Better than the reset. I have the latest OS on a card, but no one will tell me the installation procedure. If I find out, I will post it here. brian
