Connecting to another headphone

I had a problem where my original earphone supplied with the nano like player had a 2.5mm audio jack. Where can i find a connector so that i can use my mp4 player with other speakers anda headphone that use common 3.5mm audio jack? If I had to DIY my own connectors can someone gave me a diagram or tutorial how tomake my own connector.

I can get some from my local electronics store. Pretty cheap, it's been awhile though.

What country do you live in?

I'm from Malaysia, I will check at jalan pasar electronic shops. I hope can find one.

I am sure you will. They are very common and cheap. The real problem with these adapters is that they are ugly, and obtrusive. It would be great if someone developed one which was petite and neat. I think most of these players seem to have the 25mm plugs, which are probably cheaper and easier to design around. But most decent earphones are 35mm, so you need an adapter
