Language display problem

Dear Forum,

I have Nano clone.(1.5", 512MB with FM)
It shows KOREAN in text and lyrics.

The problem is that when it shows the file name in Video mode or Music mode, some of file name has broken.

Of cource, English file name show perfectly.

I tried to upgrdae firmware 3.5.35, but the problem not solved.
What is the problem?

I asked seller, but they said did not know about that.

If someone know what is the problem,
or any clues, just reply.

Thanks in advance.

nizcom,

Just to confirm, you're is it ENGLISH or KOREAN that is displaying fine on your player's display during music and video playback?

Some questions for you:
1. Can you describe what is showing up on your player's screen?
2. Is it square boxes, or just funny, unreadable characters instead?
3. Is this happening on BOTH Music and Video play back or only during Music playback?

Look forward to hearing from you and your answers.

Re: Language display problem

Thank for quick reply,

I checked my player once again with firmware V3.5.35.
In music mode, every file name show normally. So

But still get wrong name in Video mode.

Here is answer.
1. Not all but some of letters in file showing up in Chinese letter instead of KOREAN.
2. Some of them show unreadable character, eg) :::
3. In video mode, only when I explore file.

I suspect something wrong with connection between font bitmap and system.
Do you think that if I modify font bitmap and can solve it?

Please advise.
Charlie
