monkeymon, you need to open your player to find the chip. on my Nano Clone it is on the back of the board beneath the LCD screen, it is marked

SPT
SP3767HN
06CS04

If you have one and are still getting hard error it is most likely faulty.

any idea how to solve it ?

monkeymon, If the chip is faulty finding someone to replace the chip will not be easy as most electronic repairers just put in a whole new board when they fix things these days.

Monkeymon, there is probably a good chance that your player may not have FM built in, sorry. The FM option will show up on your player even if you don't have a FM chip, as the manugacturers use the same firmware for players that have both FM chips and those that don't.

As for your language issue follow these steps to solve:

Select the tool icon (this icon usually looks like a tool, toolbox, spanner etc).

Then goto the the third option in the tool menu and hit select.

Then goto the second option and hit select, your player will switch to english mode.
