Default Mympxplayer site not responding/slow

Is it me, my location (Europe) or the site, dead slow, most of the time not available? It's Christmas, family is gone, I'm bored!

Que, No it's the same this side of the world as well, The site seems to be alot busier than normal. I notice the "most users ever online at once" has risen from 100 to 157.
Hope it is not due to dead or hacked Christmas presents

Hi Que,

Yeh, it's slow for me too (same location as tadad).

I have got Webair to take a look at it as they are hosting the dedicated server.

Not sure why, users online is a lot more than usual, but it shouldn't affect it that much.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

In Colombia the site is not responsive and exremidly slow, and trying from my work's net (they go to internet by tewsbury USA) is equal

Yea, slow for me too... I think if you live where the Dedi Server is located it will be faster.

Hopefully it's alittle better now.
Not too sure why it suddenly happened. I have a feeling that Googlebots are trying to crawl the site heaps as well. I've slowed them down, so hopefully the site will run alittle better.

I'm getting the confirguation of the server changed to make it run faster as well. Hopefully you will see more improvements in the coming weeks.

Thanks eveyone for their patience.

Has anyone noticed any improvements to the site in the last 2-3 days?

i have been a "guest" for about the past month and only registered about a week or so ago.

i have noticed that it is ok most of the time, but there are still times that the site has become painfully slow to the point i go visit some other site and come back later in the day

Still slow for me, but as usual, nothing exceptional. :P

Btw, i noticed the pages are generated using a ton of SQL queries. Maybe your forum code is buggy? I tend to think that, because the server responds pretty quickly to pings.
