Hi all,

Had a hacker (doctor12) register on our site and tried to upload some .php files which would then be used to hack our site, or worst still, create a backdoor to hack into the server!

It really bugs me that people would want to do this to this site of all sites. We are not a money grabbing, greedy coporation. This is a self funded community site providing FREE support, help and ideas to other members. Why would you want to hack it? If you want to be famous and have your 15 mins of stardom, post an interesting video on YouTube or something. Don't hack someone's site and ruin it for everyone else!

It really bugs me.

Luckily I caught it. I will be posting the php files to phpBB and IntegraMOD sites so others don't get caught by this hack as well.

Those of interest, I banned doctor12 and the email address used. I've also attached a screenshot of the user with the email address they used to register on this site. This would be a working email address as the doctor12 would have had to activate his/her account.

What is the matter with people? Idiots with nothing better to do... :evil:

Had another attempt by a would-be hacker trying to hack our site again.

Thank you: samerman for trying to ruin a good community site which is proving FREE help and support to everyone.

Again, it really bugs me that people would want to do this to our site.

Well, we just had another hacker trying to upload a 'bad' php file to try to hack and deface this site.

Shame on your also for making your security question being "bomb". This is a horrible thing to do! Innocent people die from bombings.

I hope that by exposing you and your email address, that you never come on this site again!

Hey admin, have you gotten my message about security? If the hacker won't be able to connect to the site's MySQL database you won't have to worry about things like this anymore.

Thanks but unfortunately there's the possiblity that they have a dynamic IP address instead of a static one so all the person has to do is restart their router, pick up a new email address and they're on it again.....
