What happened? My post got deleted...?
 

I posted a topic in the 'dead players' part of the forum asking for help and giving a description of what had gone wrong. It can only have been two or three hours since I posted it, but the topic is completely gone :( If I did something wrong (though I'm not quite sure what I could possibly have done) then surely a quick PM or even an email to say why it had been deleted would have been appreciated. I don't *think* it's just been moved, because I can't find it anywhere.

I haven't deleted it.
The only time I have deleted posts in the past is when someone posts 3 of the exact same post in different parts of th forum. I don't like duplicates.

The only thing I can think of is that right at the time you sent your post, the server had MySQL restarted. We have a script on the server to do that once/twice a day to stop the slowness with the site. Did you see your post after you submitted it? Or only while it was submitting?
