mp4 player protable charger...need help...

I need help for a certain schematics found on this site "http://www.instructables.com/id/EJID85SSUAEP286GXW/" can anyone tell me if this "usb charger" is good for any mp4 player from china? If not can anyone advice me of a better portable usb charger schematics?

as long as it is the same voltage and ampage as your original wall charger it should be fine ;)

As long as it's the same voltage and equal or higher amperage than your original charger, it will work okay. Because an electronic device only eats up as many amps as it needs, if the power supply has got more amps, the player won't mind. Like a PSU for a computer. ;)

Yesterday came across an Emerson Cell Phone Charger in a small town Canadian variety store. Uses one AA battery and comes with 4 interchangeable connecting cords with various male plugs INCLUDING the standard male plug for MP4 players.

Got one to try out with both my RockChip and Active chipset players. Worked fine using an NiMH battery. Designed to work with alkaline batteries. The unit cost only $10!

Also worked with my Nokia cellphone and is supposed to work with Motorola and BlackBerry as well. Will post a quick review with pics later. An option for those considering building or ordering a portable recharger.
