Has anyone tried to hook up with someone over in China?
 

I've always been curious how much they cost in China/Hong Kong vs the ebay prices. Wouldn't it be cool if we could hook up with someone who lives there who could find some good deals and shoot them to us on the cheap?

Amigajoe , in general, a typical real 4GB player would cost somewhere around US$40-50 directly from the manufacturer, considering a 4GB chip costs about US$25. But it maybe much lower as manufacturers buy in bulk quantities.

But again, you'll probably need a very trusted and reliable manufacturer to actually supply you the real capacity players rather than hacked players.

What I'm thinking of really is just some ordinary guy (sort of like a penpal) who could go around to the retailers over there and look for deals.
