A couple questions.

A: Is there any difference between these two players?

Brand New!! 4 GB PMP MP4 FM Player 2.4" 262k Screen MP3

and

http://www.tinydeal.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=264

B: Does it look like this ebay seller is legit?

Edit: Nevermind, the player isn't rockchip. As the one from tinydeal is. Right?

knob 5th Jan 2008 11:46 am

They ebay one is probably a Rockchip too, the tinydeal player is a Rockchip, but look at the price difference the ebay one is a right rip-off!

Tinydeal is the one to go with, + free shipping too.
I don't know why anyone takes the risk buying off ebay at these prices!

kdawg 5th Jan 2008 11:51 am

I offered $45 for the one on ebay.

After someone mentioned rockchip to Tinydeal almost all of their players are rockchip I've noticed. SWEET!

Ok, so I got my MP4 player today. I ordered it on January 1st night and it arrived today on January 11th. The shipping was pretty fast if I must say. I purchased the Glacier 8gb*GASP* in white. I know a lot of people are afraid to buy 8gb mp4 players due to the high hacking levels but I just plugged it into the computer to see if it was authentic and IT WAS!!! Tiny Deal is awesome!!! I will surely purchase from them again very soon. I highly recommend them!!!

Did you do the "How to: Remove Memory Hack Guide' to see if was actually a 100% legit 8GB.

I'd have to say, if it is genuine, then it probably the only genuine 8GB Actions MP4 Player I have heard of.

Anyway, my order left Hong Kong on the 10th and should be delivered to me in New Zealand sometime next week.

I did open it up in the beginning with MP3 Utilities and looked under the Partition Tab at the memory capacity and it was legit. After reading your post I preformed the entire memory hack procedure and yes, it is authentic. Tiny Deal gives one helluva steal!!!

Wow, that is brilliant!

Thanks for telling us!

What is the quality of your player like? They come in a plain brown box right?

Yeah, unfortunately. I will say this. The company is great but the only things that I wish were better are the box that it comes in. I wish it was the original packaging. Some people give these as presents. Also, the customer service. I wrote at least 5 emails to them and all went unanswered. Other than that, I am very pleased.

Thats strange, they replied to all of my e-mails within a couple of hours or so and were always very helpful and friendly.

It is stupid, it would probably cost them like $0.10 extra to make a nice box for the players.

I have this player from Tinydeal and it works great, holds all 8GB (though I paid 99.99 since the price was just lowered). In fact I just yesterday placed another order from them for the 4GB card for this player.

You can see my review and thoughts on this VX858LE clone (from tinydeal) on the review forum.

Is the screen on the 8gb touch any good? The site says it only has a 65000 pixel screen.

Hi, I was wondering if TinyDeal do free shipping to Australia? I've e-mailed them but no reply as of yet.

Thanks.

EDIT: I'm an idiot. There's a currency converter at the bottom that has Australian dollars *smacks head*. So I'm correct in assuming that they do ship to Australia?

Anyway know if they sell hacked players? The prices are very good, to good to be true.

Their ebay feedback wasn't so good (some ppl had battery and other problems on their mp4) but not hacked memmory problems... (I haven't read the whole feedback tho)

Is it safe to buy MP4 players from there?

Thanks!

I got stuff off of them and they all work as they say.
But not the best quality.
Usually aftermarket copy produtcs, but they all work nevertheless.

I just ordered the 8GB Camera/touch look-a-like player from Tiny Deal.
I did not see anything about a warrantee on the site, is there a 1 year manufacturer warantee or no?
As well what is the average shipping time to North America. It has been over 7 working days and I cannot track it because the tracking site is in Chinese

please note that the product you have chosen can not be updated with any firmware and also theming the player will be impossible without the original firmware, even if a player looks like yours do not update it, also do not trust any firmware on the CD that will come with the player

just a little warning so you do not break your player, can you link to the one you bought please

thanks
