I am currently looking for some type of mp4 multimedia since i am bored everyday, i was wanting to get an ipod or a zune but it's too expensive and 30 gb i dont need that much. i was thinking of getting one of these two mp4's

* Glacier type - 2.0" TFT LCD 4GB USB 2.0 Drive PMP FM MP4 MP3 Player A4

* 4GB 2.0" USB 2.0 Drive PMP FM MP4 MP3 Player H4

i would like one that i can modify for a theme that i might like which of these would have that feature ? how do i modify it.

stevenlam , i would avoid this seller totally. Have a look at the negative feedbacks and you'll realise that he/she sells 1GB players hacked to show 4GB instead.

These 2 players are basically the same. Most "MP4" players on ebay are technically the same internally, the difference would only be with the casings and button layout.

Currently the v9.xx series firmwares could be themed using the S1 tools. Though not possible to tell what version the player is using until you physically receive it, most newer players are v9.xx.

I'll suggest having a look at mp4nation.net for legit players. They do sell the branded chinese players such as Meizu, Onda, etc. These are of better quality than typically "MP4" players.

thanks for your reply and quick warning, also thanks for that site. i appreciate it but i am on a low budget also so i cant afford those super high tech touchscreen mp4s. is there anywhere i can get atleast 4gb mp4 for under 50$?

looks like the onda style clones are suffering from hacking - of some sort - 8gb = 1gb !!!!
