Hi demonspride

Did you buy it from eBay? If the auction was labelled as a true Meizu and you got a fake, you should put through a dispute for it and get the real product.

Can you send us a photo of what you actually got?

Check out your firmware version from within your player. There should get a setup menu item then "Firmware Info" or "Version" and post it here. That should give us a better idea of firmware version and chipset it is.

can you link to the original sale, i have looked at their ebay store and ofund no ref to ebay

if like admin said, it was advertsied as meizu then you have good grounds for money back

mine was just like the one in this review http://mympxplayer.org/meizu-clone-review-vt4792.html except it had a micro SD slot instead of and and micro SD and i had a nice radio tuner i sent it back two weeks ago they got it and sent me a new one last Saturday and the tracking number said it arrived at the post office so it should be here at like 4:30

well lets hope it genuine this time

what did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking, meizu players are not cheap (well no where as cheap as the no brand player)

also i payed 40 Australian dollars for it just throwing that out there i plan on making a vid of the player when i get my camera back

I forgot to mention the only way i can turn it off is by pressing the reset button and the only way i can turn it on is by plugging it in and when it turns on i always get a message that says system init... and then it starts when i go to system/about/ it says the firmware was last updated ion 07 and that the firmware version is 00.00.0001 and that the flash mem is 0/0 can that be fixed

Any reasonable thinking person will realize that for 40 Australian Dollar you never will have a real Meizu player.

yeah it was a bid and i won for 40 but the shipping for it was outrageous all together i probably cost 65 American dollars
