Default Dancemammal's Firmware Editor - "extract firmware"

This question is related to Dancemammal's Firmware Editor v 1.0.3.0.

Please tell me if I'll choose "Extract Firmware" option,
what the program will do:
COPY firmware from the player, or GRAB (MOVE from player to computer)?

Maybe it's a silly question but
I'm afraid of the possibility that
I'll GRAB firmware and then will not be able to move it back, and
eventually I'll become like one of those poor guys
who played with their player's firmware and broke it.

hello WIZARD

There is no extract option, it just edits the firmware .rfw file, you can backup the player's media contents though, so it's perfectly safe.
