RK2706 16GB MP% player delivered w crappy firmware
 

Hello!
Some time ago i bought a MP5 player on ebay, it uses the RK2706 chipset,
it does not have a touch screen but instead it has a button fo turn volume adjustment on and off as well as a back button and a menu button as well as a toggling on/off switch on one side, other than that it look similar to those touch screen players.

It has two built in speakers and an internal mic.
This player works but it likes to enter menus by itself and often during playback it freezes when i wanna adjust something in a menu and sometimes it just turns itself off. Also it never ever saves any settings, every time it starts up in chinese and factory settings.

Im sick of this player acting up all the time so i wanna find the correct firmware for it.

I may have solved this problem, i extracted the firmware and took a look @ all the files and found two that were zero bytes in size and had chinese characters in the file type tag, i deleted these and now the player seem to work properly. :D
